But before I share how you can help, let me tell you my story. In 2008, I began witnessing a heartbreaking journey as my dad, Ernie, started to show signs of Alzheimerāsātripping and falling turned into memory loss that felt like plummeting down a cliff year after year. Each ledge represented another struggle for him and our family. My experience is unique but shared by so many; this disease affects every individual differently.![]()

In 2016 the fight was lost, the night before my dad passed away, he asked to speak to me, which was strange because over the last year he didnāt remember me, his words to me were āhiya love, donāt worry everything is going to be okay, it's all quiet now, love youā the laughter stopped and the tears started, and to this day, they still catch me unexpectedly. This amazing man, full of life, laughter, and a cuddle for everyone will always be in our hearts, so please remember, you are not alone as there are many Ernieās out there all with a unique story. ![]()
It's also quite ironic that I decided to launch this (Monday 16th June) as it's Ernieās little girls birthday! not so little anymore š To kick start this amazing year, for every like on this Facebook post, our company will donate Ā£10.00 to the Alzheimer's Society, ending on Friday 20th June 25, and remember, over the next 12 months, we will call on you for support.![]()
