Pets on the Move
Today it's the turn of the United Arab Emirates. 🥰It's hard to put into words the generosity of our wonderful colleagues around the world who have taken time to donate to what can only be described as the most underresearched disease. Dementia is the biggest killer; it affects us all, and it devastates lives. 🥰30th May 2026, we will be thinking of everyone who is suffering with dementia, for both family and friends, as we climb Snowdon. To highlight our appreciation, we will invite you to thank each business that has contributed so far.Today is the turn of a Dubai company: Relocate Your Pet. Our formation was a happy accident thanks to "Tess", the rescue spaniel. Our growth was not by accident. We hire the best in the business to be the UAE's premier pet relocation service. We pride ourselves on the highest levels of safety and comfort for your pets.‍Our devoted team ensures a stress-free experience, offering flight chaperones for small pets and a certified flying groom for horses. When it comes to your pets, we go the extra (air) mile.🥰www.relocateyourpet.com/ #DementiaAwareness #PetRelocation #AlzheimersSupport #PetCareUAE #SnowdonClimb ... See MoreSee Less

We are delighted to welcome Staffordshire Bull Terrier Charlie to our GLA Animal Reception Centre 🇺🇸 ✈️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Charlie arrived safely from Washington Dulles via KLM and is now settling in with our team. After a long journey across the Atlantic, he’ll be receiving plenty of care, comfort, and attention while he adjusts to his new surroundings and we complete his checks and customs. Why not do something today and support us as we walk Snowdon on the 30th May 2026, for the Alzheimer's Society 🙂Diagnosis and treatment for dementia are falling far behind other major conditions — and it shouldn’t be.For conditions like cancer and heart disease, there are national targets, clear pathways and expectations around diagnosis, treatment and follow‑up.For dementia, that kind of joined‑up system simply isn’t in place — and people are paying the price.People with dementia face a frustrating experience at every stage: symptoms are missed, diagnosis often takes years, and too many are left without the support and treatment they need.On average, people wait 3.5 years from first symptoms to a diagnosis, missing vital opportunities for early help.Nearly 250,000 people in England are diagnosed with early memory problems, yet there’s no national system in place to monitor progression to dementia. After diagnosis, 20% of people receive no support at all, with families describing the experience as being “released into the wild”Access to treatment is inconsistent, and where you live or who you are can still determine the care you receive. This Dementia Action Week, we’re calling for urgent government action to treat dementia on a par with other conditions — including clear national targets for early diagnosis and guaranteed access to treatment and post‑diagnosis support, without delay. #AlzheimersSociety #SnowdonChallenge #SupportDementia #DementiaActionWeek #MemoryLoss #EarlyDiagnosis #DementiaAwareness #DementiaSupport #ClimbForACause #EndDementia ... Venom is settling beautifully into Aussie life after successfully completing his quarantine period in Melbourne, and we couldn’t be happier to see him enjoying this exciting new chapter 🇦🇺🦘Thanks to dedicatedpetcareclinic.co.uk/ for Venom's tests ,treatments and health certificate to Aus ☺️We are incredibly grateful to be trusted time and time again by our returning clients, who place their precious cargo in our care.
